NEW BEGINNINGS THERAPY

Psychotherapeutic services to public services in the UK - the National Health Service (NHS)

This service was developed earlier in our training with a contract agreed in 2014. Services were offered to a NHS staff counselling service part of an Occupational Health Department and through a programme of training developed by the Medical Director at same NHS trust.

This aspect of our professional practise had enhanced our capacity to work at organisational dynamics  - the NHS being considered as client number one  - with NHS staff being considered client number two; such a mediation and negotiation between different services and departments alongside a strong consideration towards the NHS work force  has been a rewarding opportunity with knowledge and experience gained through such partnership evolving and extending our capacity to simultaneously work in various clinical settings, with different client groups presenting with a variety of mental health conditions and work related stress.
